The New Church Project - TO GIVE BIRTH TO A NEW CHURCH

Jesus Saves intends to put up a new Church accommodating approximately over five thousand (5000) members with all ministries under one roof. Since the present Church cannot accommodate large gathering several services takes place. People find it difficult to worship owing to inadequate space and unable to function other Ministries. In order to over come this present problem we have decided to put up a new building. |

The Church is built by Christ. It’s the workman ship of God and rest upon the foundation of Jesus Christ. (1Cor 3 :11). |

It’s the universal Church transcending all cultural and language barriers. There is no different between any one such as people of all walks of life, rich and poor, cast & creed, children and teenagers, men and women. All are in union with Christ. The greatest commission is fulfiled by the Church with the five fold ministry gifts (EP 4 : 11)
Our vision is to construct a Church for Five thousand (5000) people with seating capacity. We look forward to your generous help to construct this building.
We are in need of funds to construct the new Church building and praying to God to help us to build this temple very soon. Please contribute generously towards building the temple of God.
Anyone who generously contributes towards the building of the Lord’s House to accommodate people to worship “HIS MAJESTY” will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away. |

The Church planting committee is involved in planting new Churches throughout the Island under the guidance of Apostle Walter Rajamani by FAITH. There are many places where the Gospel has not been preached. It’s a great blessing if arrangements are made to send workers to the unreached areas to spread the ‘Good News’. This will help us to bring more souls to the Lord’s feet and we could expect a very good growth very soon.

We need the following to plant Churches in unreached areas. |

- Sending workers to spread the “Good News”
|

In order to do this Church planting and spreading the ‘Good News’ in the midst of obstacles for the people who are perishing as the scripture says:- Where there is no vision the people perish.(Prov 29:18). There are devoted workers prepared to go in to the field and spread the‘Good News’ in most parts of Sri Lanka where the Gospel has not been preached. It’s our duty to fulfil this great commission to transform the community and the nation. If we are to send workers to fulfil this Great Commission, we have to meet their daily needs by giving them a monthly allowance of Rupees 10000/= (U$ 100) and this will help them to look after their families. By this the workers have an opportunity to dedicate them selves more in the field and bring more souls to the kingdom of God.

In Sri Lanka there are neglected places and villages where the Gospel has not been preached. This is due to inconvenience caused by traveling from place to place. It is not an easy ministry since they have to walk miles and miles. It is very difficult to meet the needs of the believers. Owing to this there are obstacles ministry and they cannot commence new branch Churches. The workers walk and become physically weak and come back late night. They find it difficult to look after their families. If we provide the workers with motor bikes it would be very convenient to do their ministries and the work will go on very smoothly.
I make an earnest appeal to help the workers who are in need of motor bikes, enabling them to do their ministries. The cost of one motor bike is Rupees One Hundred Thousand (U$ 1000). |

This type of Church planting is done in believer’s homes and has given birth to form new Churches in remote areas and villages in Sri Lanka. In the homes where the services are conducted the following are the obstacles. |

- In the homes where the services are conducted are unable to accommodate large gathering. Owing to this the growth of the Church is obstructed.
- Homes where services are conducted, they have their personal problems with neighbours and the surroundings. Therefore new people are reluctant to attend the service.
- When we invite non-believers to join service in homes they are reluctant to join because they do not see a Church building. This affects the non-believers’ for their salvation.

In order to over come this present situation and win more souls to the Lord’s feet, please come forward and help them by providing to build Churches to glorify God’s name. |

Our intention is to put up a well equipped recording studio with all facilities to enable the Word of God to be spread to all Nation and handle Audio/Video/CD/VCD Cassette, Songs, Sermon Messages and publication through media for every person’s spiritual growth. This would help other denominations to enable them to do their ministries and equip the saints. |

well stock library is very essential, where the spiritual growth is concerned. Books, Magazine, literature in all three languages (English, Sinhala & Tamil) Audio/Video/CD/VCD Cassettes, Songs and Sermon Messages will help many from other denominations to join in unity and enjoy the privilege of sharing God’s love towards one another. |

- Orphanage and Elders home

Due to the prevailing war and natural disaster in the country, there are many who lost their houses and belongings and become fatherless, widows and orphans. These people do not get proper help and attention. There are several in my Church who came forward to support physically and help them. Hence, if there are anyone willing to help us, please be kind enough to help for the following necessity.
(a) A Children’s Home for the orphans and disabled Children.
(b) An Elders’ Home for the widows and aged people.
